According to Apple:
"For our customers' protection, Apple doesn't disclose, discuss, or confirm security issues until an investigation has occurred and patches or releases are available."
The newest feature in Safari 12 is the way that it handles the Extensions.
In previous versions users could download the Extensions from Safari's Extension page on Apple's website but with Safari 12 the extensions can be downloaded directly from App Store.
This feature first was introduced in macOS Mojave (all the Beta and Developers Preview versions) and now it is available on macOS Sierra and macOS High Sierra as well.
Safari 12 is now available for macOS Sierra 10.12.6, macOS High Sierra 10.13.6.
For more info read the official release notes on Apple's site.
