Hey guys,

I'm new to this kinda stuff and i'm trying to install a "Niresh Catalina.dmg" on my LAPTOP.

Everytime i'm stuck on:

VoodooPS2Mouse: Version 1.9.2 starting on OS X Darwin 18.2

I don't know what to do. So is here anyone who can help me?

Below here I will upload my Laptop SPECS, the bios settings i can see.

Laptop brand: Acer
Model: Aspire A514-52
Motherboard: WL Sneezy_WC V1.04
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-8265U CPU
Processor:
Graphics card: Intel UHD Graphics 620 (something with Family?)
RAM: 8GB
BIOS-version/date: Insyde Corp. V1.04, 9-5-2019
SMBIOS-version: 3.0
BIOS-mode: UEFI

I also have 2 hard drives:
  1. 237 GB SSD (original from the laptop)
  2. 465 HB HDD (build it in the laptop)
Some things you probably need to know:

I'm using Windows 10 Education.
  1. I used TransMac to
    1. Format the disk (USB) for mac
    2. Restored with disk image (Niresh Catalina)
  2. I only have acces to a VMware MacOS.
  3. I'm a noob at this.

I want to keep my Windows installation and I want to make it a dual-boot.

Can someone please help me fix this problem?

You shouldn't try to install Niresh as it's not upto the mark. Start here:
Your BIOS settings are not upto the mark. Change your BIOS settings to the following.
  • F12 Boot menu to Enabled
  • Disable VTD
  • SATA mode to AHCI
  • Fast Boot to Disabled
  • Secure Boot to Disabled

It will.

I'm already stuck on the first step. My terminal says:

sudo /Applications/Install macOS Mojave.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia: command not found.

I'm currently using a VMware with a MacOS Catalina on it..

You should use the Code for Catalina.

Here's the code for Catalina.
Code:
sudo /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Catalina.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/USB

Hello,

Thanks for answering. I will try it.

In the guide everytime it's showing "drivers64UEFI" or at the end of the drivers "-64"

It's not showing at me, but I don't think that will be a problem right?

Hi,

I followed the guide and did everything it says, but still no succes. It freezes again. I took a picture when it freezes and uploaded it.
