Hi,

I want to hackintosh my Thinkpad P15.

I tried to install MacOS Ventura using OpenCore but I am facing some problems.

I cannot boot MacOS from an NVMe disk partition, I am using a slightly modified config.plist from https://github.com/ivan19871002/Thinkpad-P15V-Gen1-Hackintosh.

This guy has successfully hackintoshed a Thinkpad P15V, I have a sightly different model.

But my MacOS won't boot. I don't know how to add debugging of kernel message to a log file, so I only have a short log file.

I am attaching it.

I am also attaching my config.plist.

I am stuck. Opencore boots but after some MacOS Kernel messages, the maschine reboots.

I am using Opencore 0.8.8 and freshly downloaded the Kexts and drivers.

Could you help me and direct me in the right direction?

Thank you in advance.

Best regards,

Ronny

You can use external link.

Regarding the BIOS Settings, screenshot is preferred.

Seems like you're using old OpenCore version. If not, the Bootstrap directory must be removed.

There are several duplicate SSDTs, although they have not been added, but is recommended to have less clutter.

Overall, the configuration you have is not as per the guide. You should start from scratch.

Salut,

OK, I tried to start over using the Guide.

But where do I get the file
  • SSDT-RHUB-Reset.aml
from?

SSDTTime can only create SSDT-RHUB/SSDT-USB-Reset.aml.

Thanks.

SSDTTime can only create SSDT-RHUB/SSDT-USB-Reset.aml.

It's a part of USB Mapping, which is a post install task.

Hi,

I have now followed the Guide and OpenCore documentation, but I still can't boot the Ventura installer.

Here is my current EFI folder: https://github.com/rforberger/EFI-OpenCore-Thinkpad-P15

I get errors like vm_shared_region_start_address: failed. Apples code is here: https://opensource.apple.com/source/xnu/xnu-4570.1.46/osfmk/vm/vm_shared_region.c.auto.html

Any ideas what could be wrong?

Best regards,

Ronny

Your configuration is still not as per the guide.
